MOMENTS THAT MATTERED : CELEBRATING GROWTH, GRATITUDE AND IMPACT
This year marks ten years since Clean Start Africa began. Saying that out loud still feels significant. What started as a bold idea has grown into a trusted institution operating at the intersection of empowering justice impacted women, youth, and children due to poverty related survival crimes and criminal justice system reforms, across Kenya and beyond. Over the past decade, we have done the work of building; building an inclusive comprehensive rehabilitation system, building a solid re-entry pathway, and building a movement. It has taken persistence, belief, and the commitment of many people who chose to invest their time, energy, trust, and resources in this work. Along the way, we’ve learned what drives real, lasting impact in social transformation. As a result, we enter 2026 with a clear understanding of who we are, what we do best, and how we intend to continue growing
