This department prepares incarcerated women for life beyond prison walls, including mental health support ongoing counseling, and trauma healing. The goal is to equip them with the tools and knowledge necessary to rebuild their lives and avoid recidivism.

This Department is dedicated to working with imprisoned and formerly imprisoned women,striving to restore hope and empower them towards holistic rehabilitation and successful reintegration into society.
Through our comprehensive Ufunuo leadership Program and support services, we address the multifaceted needs of these women.
Ufunuo is a Swahili for unveiling. The Program is designed to allow imprisoned and formerly imprisoned women heal from the traumatic experiences, gain confidence and become resilient women who are ready to face the world post imprisonment
So far we have trained about 332 women in 12 prisons across Kenya
We have also trained 64 formerly imprisoned women on the Ufunuo Program
